We are all here for a reason

"I'd imagine the whole world was one big machine. Machines never come with any extra parts, you know. They always come with the exact amount they need. So I figured, if the entire world was one big machine, I couldn't be an extra part. I had to be here for some reason." ~ Hugo Cabret, from the movie "Hugo"

Build the Life You Want

I propose a radical, yet ancient notion: To build the life you want--complete with inner satisfaction, personal meaning and rewards--create the work you love.  By this I mean invent a way to earn an income doing what you do best, while serving others, becoming authentic, fulfilling the highest standards of your vocation.  This is spiritual work.  It's life's assignment.  And most of us are well-equipped to do it. ~ Marsha Sinetar, "To Build the Life You Want, Create the Work You Love"
